Are you Worshiping the right Jesus???

I have a saying that I like to say to others who are bringing people to Christ. That saying is “ Are you sure you and others are bringing people to the right Jesus?” There are a lot of people who ask me what it is that I mean when I say this, well I will start with scripture…. Jesus himself said that there would be false Christs to arise Matthew 24:23-24:
²³Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

²⁴For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

So if the Christ himself says there will be false Christ why don’t we think there are?  These are people in this world who portray Christ as something that he is not. Well if Jesus wasn’t enough his Apostles agreed and knew of some in their time after Christs death and resurrection.  Paul wrote in his second Epistle to the Corinthians about people coming Preaching another Jesus. 2 Corinthians 11:4:
⁴For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him

Again, why are we so surprised when someone like me says or asks are we worshipping the right Jesus? This is a legitimate question according to scripture.

Now the question becomes who is the right Jesus and who is the wrong Jesus. I think I will start with the wrong Jesus. There are sects who say that Jesus is not the 2^nd Person in the Trinity i.e. Jehovah’s witnesses, Apostolic and united Pentecostals organizations just to name a few. Not to mention Islam and other cults who say the Jesus is only a Prophet. Some say his name is the only divine name to be called or baptized in, some say he is A God and not God. Mormons believe we can be God like he was. THESE ARE ALL THE WORG JESUS AND THE OTHER OR ANOTHER JESUS THAT PAUL WAS SPEAKING OF. THE SCRIPTURES CLEARLY STATE THAT JESUS IS GOD AND THE 2^ND PERSON IN THE GODHEAD OF THE TRINITY WHICH I S EXPLAINED IN AN EARLIER BLOG.

If you have a Pastor or biblical teacher who does not believe in the Trinity then he is teaching you the wrong Jesus. If he teaches that Jesus wants you to be rich or enables you to speak things into existence he is teaching you the wrong Jesus. IF JESUS IS THE FATHER AND THE HOLY SPIRIT THEN YOU ARE WORSHIPPING THE WRONG JESUS.

So if you are not worshipping the right Jesus you will not enter into the kingdom! The bible asks us to study to show thyself approved. Test all spirits but we just listen to whatever we are told and we follow it. So if we do this we are not doing God’s will for us. We must read the bible for our understading with God not someone else’s understanding!
