Hebrews 11:1 What is Faith???

OKAY ANOTHER SCRIPTURAL LESSON!!! Hebrews 11:1 I have heard the scripture time and time again mistranslated or better yet taken totally out of context!! the scripture reads.. Hebrews 11

1Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

Now this in no way means that you can CLAIM ANYTHING OR BELIEVE THAT SOMETHING YOU WANT(WORDLY THINGS) IS GOING TO BE YOURS i.e. house, car, husband, wife etc… YOUR FAITH DOES NOT GUARANTEE YOU THESE THINGS AT ALL!!! This Scripture in essence is explaining what true faith is, It is not an actual SUBSTANCE. IT IS NOT A TANGIBLE REALITY. TRUE FAITH IS THE ASSURANCE OF A LIVING TRUST BETWEEN AN INDIVIDUAL AND GOD!!!

SEE WE KNOW THAT JESUS WAS HERE AND THAT HE DIED FOR OUR SINS AND ROSE FROM THE DEAD THREE DAYS LATER!! THAT’S THE SUBSTANCE OF OUR FAITH. THE EVIDENCE OF THINGS NOT SEEN MEANS THAT WE HAVE THE FAITH(TRUST) THAT HE WILL RETURN IN ALL OF HIS GLORY TO SAVE US FROM THE ILLS OF THIS WORLD!! WE TRUST GOD ENOUGH TO PUT OUR FAITH IN HIM THAT THIS WILL HAPPEN, BECAUSE WE HAVE NOT SEEN THIS HAPPEN. THIS IS THE ONLY GUARANTEE THAT WE GET FROM OUR FAITH!!

OTHERS THINGS “MAY” COME FROM OUR FAITH BECAUSE ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE WITH GOD.. JESUS “WILL” COME THIS IS THE ONLY PROMISE THAT WE GET! THIS IS WHAT WE HOPE FOR!! NOT CARNAL THINGS!!!

IF YOU READ THE FOLLOWING VERSES HEBREWS 11:2-40 WE SEE THE FAITH THAT IS SPOKEN OF THAT TELLS US HOW THESE SAINTS HAD FAITH, BUT THEIR FAITH WAS NOT ON THINGS THAT THEY WANTED FROM GOD. THEIR FAITH WAS IN THAT FACT THAT GOD ASKED SOMETHING OF THEM AND THEY FOLLOWED FAITHFULLY BECAUSE THEY HAD FAITH (TRUSTED) IN GOD!!!

I HOPE THAT THIS WAS INFORMATIVE PEACE AND BLESSINGS SAINTS!!!

How important is Doctrine to Christians

I wanna Start by saying that so many have fallen away from what The True doctrine of God is. They go along saying I believe in God so Im good. That couldnt be further from The truth. See The scriptures Tell US in James 2:19 that even The demons believe! Or they to churches that teach false doctrines And Say ”as Long as I have a relationship with God im ok” again not True! Lets see what The scriptures say…. First Jesus Says (to avoid confusion im sticking to New testament also For space constraints.) Lol

(KJV)John 7:16-17
Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me. [17] If any man will do his will, he shall know of the doctrine, whether it be of God, or whether I speak of myself.

Here he speaks of how we can tell if the doctrine is of man or of God! So how important Is doctrine? Jesus speaks about doctrine several, times in scripture… Matt 15:9 Mark 7:7 And several other place. He apoke, about how people followed doctrines of men. Several places in the Book of Acts speak about an essential doctrine of The Apostles which was The sameas Jesus’.

(KJV)Acts 5:28
Saying, Did not we straitly command you that ye should not teach in this name? and, behold, ye have filled Jerusalem with your doctrine, and intend to bring this man’s blood upon us.

So there was something special about the doctrine they were spreading. Because in the next verse Peter and the apostles said they would obey God rather than men.

Now Paul warns us about those that cause divisions by teaching a doctrine other than what we have learned. Notice here he says to avoid those people and not stay at that Church because you have a more important relationship with God! ‎(KJV)Romans 16:17 Now I beseech you, brethren, mark them which cause divisions and offences contrary to the doctrine which ye have learned; and avoid them. Paul also warns us to keep away from those who seem to have a form of godliness in 2 Timothy 3:1-5. I write this because nowhere in scripture does it say its okay to continue fellowshiping in false doctrinal organizations.

Paul tells us in Ephesians (KJV)Ephesians 4:14-15 That we henceforth be no more children tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men  and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive; [15] But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

We cant be thrown by every wind of doctrine and follow everything we must speak/defend The truth.

Essentially Doctrine saves you And those you teach it to (KJV)1 Timothy 4:13-16 Till I come, give attendance to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine. [14] Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of the hands of the presbytery. [15] Meditate upon these things; give thyself wholly to them; that thy profiting may appear to all. [16] Take heed unto thyself, and unto the doctrine; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee.

So if Doctrine saves, Why does The vast majority of The Church not think its neccessary to hold to it and to test things in light of scripture? Why do we feel the obligation to accept everything as doctrine even if it goes against the scriptures?  Why because someone says the name of Jesus do we feel as though we believe they are of Christ?  (KJV)Ephesians 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,

This means that there Is One Doctrine not several interpretations of that doctrine! Wake up Saints!
